Analysis - The Wizard Films based on video games have been known to suck, but in the case of The Wizard, the film actually is about video games themselves. Released in 1989, The Wizard is perhaps the biggest advertisement disguised as a film ever, advertising Nintendo's biggest products of the 80s – the SNES, the Powerglove and Super Mario Bros. 3. The film was not a big success, with diehard Nintendo fans pointing out the errors with the games, and even Roger Ebert got in on the act to point where The Wizard made mistakes. Re:Analysis - Pokemon Heroes Pokemon Heroes is the fifth movie in the ever-increasing series of Pokemon movies, and the last based on the original series. The film is a mix of good and bad points, having likeable characters and a decent plot with some lovely visuals and music. However, negative points include some gaping plot holes, some dodgy CGI and some rather embarrassing cases of character incompetence. The most positive factor of the film is the relationship between Ash, Latias and Latios, and the commendable work of the art department to replicate the sights and sounds of Venice in the film.

Analysis - We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story There are some movies which I've seen in my life which I've come to nickname Big Lipped Alligator Movies, or movies that really do not make much sense – Freddie the Frog as FRO7, The Brave Little Toaster, and this film I'm reviewing: We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story. The Nostalgia Critic described this film as "The Land Before Time on crystal meth!" and he isn't wrong. The film's plot is all over the place and doesn't make much sense now. But I still have a nostalgic fondness for the film, and I remember visiting my local Blockbusters to find the VCR copy it used to have. Project Update - Kingdom Hearts project

Here's a quick update for my projects.

I've had writers block for a little while and having too many ideas/concepts at a time prevents me from concentrating on my current ones. I'm gonna continue work on Alice: Madness Returns, but for the first time in a long time I'll be attempting to work on two fanfics at one.

Along with Alice, I'll be writing a Kingdom Hearts fanfic. Now I know the next game, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Dive will becoming out within the next year and then Kingdom Hearts III itself, so whether or not I include plot points from the games will depend whether or not how far I've got in my fanfic. I see it not being too overly long - long fanfics seem to take forever for me to write. Heck I started Alice in 2008 and it took four years to finish.

I will be continuing to work on Alice although when chapters come out for that or KH may be quick or slow, so please be patient when the first chapters start appearing.
